While Sierra Stick is crafted by a hiker for hikers, its versatility lets everyone benefit from it, whether you get chapped lips in the office or hiking Mt. Whitney.
How should I use Sierra Stick as an ointment for minor cuts, scrapes and wounds?
- CLEAN: Wash your hands and the injured area with soap and water.
- TREAT: With the wound cleaned, apply Sierra Stick in a thin layer on top of your wound.
- COVER: Protect the wound with a bandaid or sterile gauze and tape, replacing daily.
Why did my Sierra Stick turn white?
The natural ingredients in Sierra Stick may undergo a gradual discoloration after 9-12 months, reflecting the authentic and minimally-processed origins of our ingredients.
To extend its effectiveness, store tubes you are not using in a cool dark place or a refrigerator.
Does Sierra Stick have SPF Protection?
Sierra Stick doesn’t contain SPF protection. Personally, when I hike, I prefer using clothing like hats and long sleeves to block UV rays.
